SecIdent Basic

The serialization system SecIdent® in the Basic Edition provides all functions required to equip products with guaranteed unique and forgery-proof serial codes and to apply them to the product itself or its packaging. With this unique id, each product can be clearly identified and offers effective protection against product piracy. The embedding of the serial code, e.g. in a QR code, enables an authenticity check without special hardware or software and can be carried out quickly and easily via a smartphone).

How is SecIdent implemented?

The system is available as Software-as-a-Service (Saas). This avoids software installation, administration or data backup. A browser and an internet connection is all that is needed to use SecIdent instantly.

What are the benefits of SecIdent Basic?

SecIdent in the Basic Edition is completely preconfigured so that the system is ready for immediate use. Serial codes can be downloaded and applied to products. For easy verification by the buyer or other parties, it is recommended to embed the serial codes in QR Codes so that the verification is done directly during a scan. The response pages that are then displayed are already created in all major languages. This allows for international use.

The multi-level authorization concept with the corresponding roles guarantees on one hand a continuous process security and on the other hand allows to map workflows executed by machines via technical users.

Both the system interface and the response pages that follow a test are multilingual. While the language settings for the application can be configured, the system obtains the appropriate language for the response page from the browser settings and thus adapts automatically. Every customer and user receives the test result in his own language.

The features and versions of SecIdent are based on individual industry requirements. An upgrade is possible at any time without losing any data that has been created up to that point. The Professional and Professional Plus versions extend the range of functions.
